Christopher L. Terry
Christopher L. Terry specializes in the defense of insurance carriers in all forms of first party litigation, including coverage disputes with policyholders, suits alleging “bad faith” and no-fault claims alleging traumatic brain injury.
He has lectured and conducted various seminars for attorneys and insurance professionals on these issues in Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota. Mr. Terry also has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, trucking and transportation litigation, construction liability and indemnity, and professional negligence claims. He has also represented numerous employers in defense of actions alleging unlawful discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful discharge.
Mr. Terry is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, the Association of Defense Trial Counsel, the Michigan Association of Defense Trial Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, and the Tort & Insurance Practice and Litigation Sections of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Terry has been peer review rated AV (“Preeminent”) by Martindale-Hubbell for many years and was recently recognized as a “TopLawyer” in the fields of Insurance and Contract Litigation by dbusiness Magazine.
