Joseph J. Wright is an experienced litigation and trial attorney specializing in the defense of corporations, business owners, insurers and individuals in the areas of complex litigation, construction liability and indemnity, product liability, fires and explosions, commercial disputes, premises liability, first party, third party and uninsured/underinsured auto actions, trucking and transportation litigation, insurance coverage disputes, environmental contamination claims/toxic torts and professional negligence claims. Mr. Wright also has a successful appellate practice.

Mr. Wright is the author of “Making Sense of Retained Control and Common Work Area Liability,” Michigan Defense Quarterly, Vol. 21, No. 2 (2004), and “Reconciling the Notice of Non-Party Fault and the Taxation of Costs Pursuant to Michigan’s Prevailing Party Statutes,” Michigan Defense Quarterly, Vol. 21, No. 4 (2005).

He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, the Association of Defense Trial Counsel and the Defense Research Institute.
